Bonita Burke, the visionary behind Pro Aesthetics Skin Gym has won gold in the Hydrate Category at the first-ever Skinlympics, a brand-new industry event recognising and rewarding Australia’s best Skin Therapists.

The Award-Winning Result
Bonita's award-winning result was achieved through the transformative Profosma Jet Plasma treatment, a gentle yet highly effective procedure. "My client came to me seeking skin rejuvenation with minimal downtime. After an in-depth consultation, we chose the Profosma Jet Plasma treatment, known for its versatility and remarkable results," Bonita shared.
This advanced treatment penetrates 14,800 volts of plasma into the skin, stimulating collagen production and remodelling the cellular structure from within. The results include tightened, lifted, and brightened skin, with diminished hyperpigmentation and reduced wrinkle depth.
Bonita's client, a 75-year-old with exceptionally well-maintained skin, desired non-invasive procedures with little to no downtime. "It was a challenge to decide on the best treatment initially, but our approach with the Profosma Jet Plasma and Skin Reveal Australia products exceeded her expectations," Bonita explained.
The treatment plan included a series of in-clinic sessions using Profosma Jet Plasma as the primary modality, supported by Skin Reveal Australia products. Bonita’s career in the professional beauty and aesthetics industry spans decades and continents. Starting as an Advanced Aesthetician with CIDESCO in South Africa, she moved to England and then settled in Australia in 2009.
